A Civil War veteran, Henry served in the federal army at the
end of the war, and continued his service in the regular
army for three more years. He was known around town as
"Uncle Henry." He worked for Chickasha's water department
for several years and was then elected as city treasurer, an
office he held for 10 years. Henry was a member of the First
Baptist Church, Choctaw Masonic Lodge, and the Knight
Templar.

Hollingsworth, Henry Minnett, and Dr. John Minnett. Emma
