Dr. Rebecca H. Mason

October 27, 1894 - March 27, 1977

Dr. Rebecca H. Mason was born October 27, 1894, in Minneapolis, Minn., and died March 27, 1977, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, Okla., following a lengthy illness.  A graduate of the University of Minnesota and Rush Medical School University of Chicago, Dr. Mason was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She came to Chickasha in 1921. Dr. Mason was both a professor and a physician for the Oklahoma College for Women (now USAO) for over 40 years. Dr. Mason was a member of the Grady County, Oklahoma State and National Medical Associations, as well as the First Christian Church.
